Don't miss the Friday night Pioneer Park Picture Show! Every Friday night the SLC Film Center and the Office of Salt Lake City Mayor Ralph Becker will take you around the world and across the universe through the power of film. The first screening is Friday, August 1st with Across the Universe, a whimsical and fanciful trip back to the 60's set to Beatle's music. Movies start at dusk or around 9pm.

The Downtown Rising Office, located at 120 South Main, is open for business! The Downtown Rising Office is home to the offices of Bill Knowles, construction ombudsman, staff from the Salt Lake City Building Inspection department and also showcase the more than 40 commercial, mixed-use and residential development projects currently underway in downtown Salt Lake City.

This office is an ideal location to meet with prospective clients, investors and anyone else interested in development in Salt Lake City. Meeting space for small groups is available upon request and appointments can be made by contacting Carla Wiese at 328-5043 or by email at carla@downtownslc.org

UTA has officially extended the Salt Lake Free Fare Zone to include the Intermodal Hub extension to Salt Lake Central Station.

This will apply to the new TRAX stops: Planetarium, Old GreekTown and Salt Lake Central. The buses that serve 200 South at Salt Lake Central Station will also be included in the Free Fare Zone.

The Free Fare Zone extends West of 400 West on 200 South only. Other existing borders of the zone remain unchanged. This change is effective April 26, 2008.

The Salt Lake Convention & Visitors Bureau introduces Salt Lake's first hop-on, hop-off city tour. The Salt Lake Connect Pass City Tour provides access to many top attractions along a 90-minute route. Guests can customize their own experience on the City Tour by choosing where to explore depending upon their interests and schedule.
