Salt Lake City (June 5th, 2018) – The Downtown Farmers Market will celebrate its 27th season of providing opportunities for the community to support their local food economy. The Market—with more than 200 food vendors and 100 art & craft vendors—offers a unique variety of farmers, growers, bakeries, prepared food and beverages, packaged foods and local artisans.

The Market will be open Saturday mornings, beginning June 9th, at 8 AM in Historic Pioneer Park, Downtown Salt Lake City. Featuring over 250 vendors, the market provides a venue for Utah’s urban and legacy farms to sell their products while educating the community about local and regional food producers. Farmers are expecting a productive early season with plenty of produce available, including many varieties of greens, peas, berries and more.
