Downtown SLC Open Streets: Closed to cars. Open for fun.

It’s time to come out and play in the street! Downtown SLC’s Main Street will be closed to cars and transformed into a pedestrian promenade each, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from noon to 1 am this summer. Restaurants, bars and shops between 400 South and South Temple will extend their service onto the sidewalks. Musicians and other artists will welcome everyone each night.

Performers on the Promenade
Downtown’s spacious Main Street corridor will be animated with buskers, activations and art performances from Exchange Place to Eccles Theater between 6pm and 10pm on Friday and Saturday, and 11 am to 3 pm on Sunday.

Dozens of restaurants and bars
More than 150 downtown restaurants and bars, and more than 100 local and downtown-only retailers are excited to welcome you to the heart of the city.
