We’ve had a lot of visitors in town recently. The one consistent adage we keep hearing is, “I can’t believe what is happening downtown, I don’t even recognize it!”

We were stunned when Ryan Lowder closed The Daily. It was a favorite coffee shop with a casual sophistication. The space inside the 222 tower is being fully redesigned for Hando Sake, a Japanese restaurant specializing in temaki sushi, or hand rolls.

Where are you going to find alligator tacos in Salt Lake? Neutral Ground, the 5-star-Google-rated restaurant near the airport is probably the only place in the region. They closed their restaurant recently to move into 122 Pierpont. We look forward to having their unique twist on Cajun much closer to us. Laissez les bon temps rouler!
