While the pandemic may have put a pause on many social gatherings, dozens of downtown summertime staples have adapted to provide safe and innovative fun in the city. 

You can enjoy walking tours, virtual events, bike-in concerts and even some organizations that will bring the show to you! Here are 10+ ways to safely enjoy downtown. 

THE BLOCKS Public Art & Mural Trail

Take a colorful walking tour of downtown’s array of public art and murals with THE BLOCKS’ Public Art & Mural Trail app. Learn who created each work of art and discover some hidden gems nearby. Get your walking tour started by scanning this QR code or by walking up to a BLOCKS plaque at 40+ downtown murals. 

Downtown SLC Farmers Market

Grab your reusable shopping bags and head down to Pioneer Park to pick up the freshest produce in the state. You can safely support our intermountain agriculture community every Saturday from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. through October 24th. City Creek Center

At The Gateway

SLC Concert Cruise Bike Concert

Throughout downtown SLC, different local musicians will be stationed in locations to perform pop-up style shows for attendees. Concertgoers bike from 20-minute concert to concert in groups of 20 people or less. Get your tickets here.

SB Dance

CURBSIDE THEATER PICKUP is a mobile, outdoor art munchie. It comes to you at home or another location that you choose in Salt Lake or Summit County. The audience is safely distant from performers and each other. The 5-minute show blends dance, movement, theater and often live music. Suitable for ALL Audiences, this project is free.
